Our I-600a application was received on 4/29/05 and we were just fingerprinted on 7/7/05. Their letter states they are "several months" behind and are working on mid-February applicatiions. this would mean that they are at least 2-3 months behind on processing applications.

I'm not sure if they mean from the date the application was received or the date you are fingerprinted. Has anyone else been fingerprinted recently and received their approval from INS in a timely manner or are you still waiting too?

Hi, Kris, Bill & Will:

I apologize for the delay in responding to your question. Each state seems to process their approvals at different rates, but here in NC, it is taking an average of 120 days from when the application is first received by Immigraion until the family receives their I-171H. I know that the wait is hard, especially when you are not certain of where you are "in line." But, rest assured, it is being processed and will be in your mailbox before you know it!
